It all started from the will to change one’s own existence and to create something that could make true that which for many reasons was left pending: a container where we could give life to our dreams, our wishes, our ambitions and expectations. After a careful, demanding and quite difficult search, there it was: the promised land! It looked like it had every characteristic we were looking for. An old farmhouse to renovate, a vineyard with perfect exposition to the sun, a breath-taking landscape. The farmhouse, a beautiful example of late 1700s rural architecture, was perfect to house our fantasies; an adventure with many stops and goals through which we consolidated our wine-making and hospitality business.
Thus Tenuta Bricco Mollea was born, located in Vicoforte and with a 12-acre surface, some of it a Dolcetto plantation with which we make DOCG Dogliani and some with a Nebbiolo plantation for the production of DOC Langhe Nebbiolo. A small production of DOCG Barolo comes from La Morra land
The microclimate created by the 600 meters altitude and the proximity to both the sea and mountains along with the soil quality and the sun exposition compose an unique blend that completely dominates a vast landscape on the Marittime Alps that, grazing the suggestive Mondovì Piazza, widens over Monviso to reach out to the Rosa Mountain range.
